The Garbage Dump Home of Street Children
There are close to one million Street Children in Kenya. The
majority of them have been orphaned by HIV/AIDS. The traditional family
structures which absorbed such orphans have been stretched to the limit. The
children are left to fend for themselves on the streets and in the garbage
dumps.
