Expanding Opportunities maintains a retail shop called AinaMoja (Kiswahili for “One of a kind”) in Belfast, Maine. It also maintains three online retail shops. Expanding Opportunities buys all of its inventory from struggling artisans striving to support themselves and their families. Thereby, Expanding Opportunities support is twofold – the purchase of inventory supports the artisans and sales from the shops supports the work of Expanding Opportunities.
